The Datalogic Sensor S5N-PA-5-E01-PP (S5NPA5E01PP, 952001141)is part of the S5N series, featuring a nominal sensing distance of 30/100mm and an axial optic tubular design. With sensitivity adjustment via trimmer, it operates as an optic fiber amplifier, specifically tailored for white target Kodak at 90% and 100 x 100mm. Equipped with PNP NO+NC output type, it offers a switching frequency of 1kHz and a response time of 500s, ensuring rapid and precise detection.

The sensor operates on 10 to 30VDC power supply. The sensor consumes a no-load supply current of 35 mA and a load current of 100mA. It includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Engineers have specifically designed the sensor to withstand vibrations with 0.5 mm amplitude and frequencies from 10 to 55 Hz on every axis. It meets IP67 mechanical protection standards.

The sensor is constructed with plastic housing made of PBT/PMMA. It features an active head also made of PMMA. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -25C to +55C. Approved with CE and cULus certifications, it also meets EMC compatibility standards (EN 60947-5-2). Supplied with M12 plug connections and nuts, it ensures ease of installation and durability.
