The Datalogic S5N-PR-5-C01-PK Photoelectric sensor, part of the S5N series, is a tubular M18 sensor designed for diffuse beam sensing. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 350 mm with an axial optic positioned radially at a 90 angle. The sensor supports selectable PNP Light/Dark (L/D) output configurations, providing flexibility in various applications. It features a fast response time of 500 s and operates within a voltage range of 1030 VDC, with a no-load supply current of up to 35 mA and a load current capacity of 100 mA.

Equipped with LED indicators for output and stability status (yellow and green), the sensor ensures easy monitoring. It also includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, increasing its reliability in industrial environments. The emission is infrared LED, which ensures stable operation even under fluctuating light conditions, compliant with EN 60947-5-2 standards.

The sensor is housed in durable plastic (PBT and PMMA), offering mechanical protection rated at IP67, making it resistant to dust and water ingress. It can operate in a temperature range from -25C to +55C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25C to +70C. The sensor also includes M12 plug connections for simple installation.
