The Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Proximity Sensor, (GXH12A, UGXH12A) with a maximum operation distance of 4.0 mm and a stable sensing range of 0 to 3.3 mm, ensures reliable detection of standard sensing objects like iron sheets measuring 20 — 20 — 1 mm. It maintains hysteresis of 20% or less and repeatability of 0.04 mm or less along and perpendicular to the sensing axis, offering precise performance in industrial applications.

Operating on a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC, the Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Proximity Sensor consumes minimal current (15 mA or less) and features an NPN open-collector transistor output with a maximum sink current of 100 mA. Its normally open output operation and a maximum response frequency of 500 Hz are indicated by an orange LED, providing clear visual feedback for monitoring.
