The Leuze HT25C/4P (Part No. 50134216) is a high-precision optical sensor from the 25C series, utilizing the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression for accurate object detection.

With an adjustable operating range from 50 to 1,200 mm, it reliably detects white, gray, and black surfaces with minimal black-white error (less than 10% up to 400 mm). The sensors red LED light source (wavelength 640 nm) ensures precise alignment and detection. Its guaranteed operating range covers up to 1.2 m, while detection distances are optimized for white (90%) up to 1.2 m, gray (18%) up to 0.75 m, and black (6%) up to 0.65 m, making it versatile for various industrial applications.

Equipped with two PNP digital outputs, it supports both light and dark switching principles. A high switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a rapid response time of 0.5 ms enable performance in high-speed operations. The sensors operational controls include a multiturn potentiometer for easy range adjustment.

Built for durability, the sensor features a robust ABS plastic housing with IP67 and IP69K protection, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning. Its ECOLAB certification ensures compatibility with harsh cleaning agents. The compact design (15 mm x 42.7 mm x 30 mm) facilitates through-hole mounting or installation with optional brackets.
