The Leuze PRK18B.T2/4P-M12 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50117363) is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for detecting highly transparent materials such as bottles, films, and glass panes. It operates on the reflection principle with an operating range of up to 4 meters and a typical range limit of 4.8 meters. The red LED light source (620 nm) ensures precise detection, supported by a multiturn potentiometer for easy adjustments.

This sensor features a durable die-cast zinc metal housing with a glass lens cover, offering robust protection in industrial environments.It supports two digital PNP switching outputs. These outputs offer both light and dark switching options. The device operates at a high switching frequency of 1,500 Hz. Its response time is just 0.333 milliseconds.

The Leuze PRK18B.T2/4P-M12 Photoelectric Sensor operates within a wide voltage range of 1030 V DC and includes protective circuits for polarity reversal and short-circuit prevention. It connects via a 4-pin M12 male connector with A-coding and supports multiple mounting options, including front mounting, through-hole mounting, and optional mounting devices.

With a compact design (15 mm x 47 mm x 32.5 mm), IP67/IP69K protection, and ECOLAB material compatibility, this sensor is ideal for hygienic and harsh environments. It operates reliably in temperatures from -40C to +60C and is suitable for demanding industrial applications.
