Operating on 12 to 24 V DC, it consumes minimal power, with the emitter drawing 0.5 W or less and the receiver 0.8 W or less.

Equipped with NPN open-collector transistors for output, it offers flexibility in integration, while the incorporation of short-circuit protection enhances safety during operation.

Featuring a compact design and robust construction using materials like heat-resistant ABS and acrylic, the sensor offers IP62-rated protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for challenging environments.
