The Panasonic PM-R25 U-shaped Micro Photoelectric Sensor excels in industrial environments with a 6 mm fixed sensing range and detects opaque objects as small as 0.8 1.2 mm. It boasts precise hysteresis and repeatability of 0.05 mm (0.002 in) or less and 0.01 mm (0.0004 in) or less, respectively. Operating on a supply voltage range of 5 to 24 V DC with a low current consumption of 15 mA or less, the sensor utilizes an NPN open-collector transistor output supporting a maximum sink current of 50 mA.
