The Datalogic S51-PA-5-C01-PK Photoelectric Sensor is a part of S50 Series family and now upgraded in S5N Series. The Datalogic S51-PA-5-C01-PK Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance sensor designed for reliable detection using diffuse proximity technology. It features a red laser light emission with a wavelength of 650 nm, producing a focused spot dimension of 1.5 x 5 mm when used with a standard 9 mm lens. Its sensing range extends from 0 mm to 700 mm, offering versatility across various applications.

This sensor operates on a 10“30 VDC power supply, consuming a maximum of 35 mA. Its PNP output supports both Dark-ON and Light-ON modes, handling output currents up to 100 mA. With a rapid response time of 500 µs and a switching frequency of 1 kHz, it ensures efficient operation in fast-paced environments.

Built for durability, the housing is crafted from nickel-plated brass and PBT, complemented by a PMMA lens for added robustness. It provides excellent mechanical protection with an IP67 rating, safeguarding against dust and water ingress. Moreover, it withstands vibrations (0.5 mm amplitude at 10“55 Hz across all axes) and shocks (11 ms at 30 G, six shocks per axis).
